| Family Planning Service |

| Full family planning services are available including coil fitting. Doctors and nurses provide this service. Emergency contraception is available and is discussed in complete confidence. The doctors are happy to provide preconceptual and sexual health advice. Termination Of Pregnancy is discussed in complete confidence with the doctor. |
| Cervical Smear Screening |
| |
| Cervical Smear Screening is done by the doctors and nurse for women aged between 20-64. You will be recalled by PCT (Primary Care Trust) by post. Normal results are sent to you by the PCT. Abnormal results will be informed to you personally by phone. The results normally take 4-6 weeks. |

| Please do not book for cervical smears on a Friday or just before going out of the country. If the result is abnormal we will have a problem informing you of the results. |

| Postnatal Checks |
| |
| Doctor does postnatal checks at 6 weeks following delivery at a Thursday morning clinic. Appointment date and time will be sent to you. If you fail to receive notification of an appointment please telephone the surgery. |
| Child Health Surveillance |
| |
| The doctor carries out CHS checks at 6 weeks. The Health Visitor carries out all others. |

| Baby Immunisations; |
| |
| 1st immujnisation at 3 months - 5 in 1 |
| Tetanus, Diphtheria, Whooping Cough, Polio & Hib |

| Make sure your child is free of any infection and fever before the immunisation. Please bring the red book with you. |
| Hypertension |
| |
| Again we regularly follow all patients with hypertension to reduce cardiovascular risk. |
